Bizim Afrika, with the support of the Turkish Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), Istanbul Nışantaşı University, Al Salam Foundation, and the sponsorship of TURCAF, AKOREX, and MAC Language and Arts Center, is proud to announce the 3rd African Diaspora Forum. Building on the success of our past forums, this 3rd edition seeks to transition our community’s efforts from simple engagement to lasting influence. This year’s guiding theme is: “From Engagement to Influence: Advancing Institutional Diaspora Leadership in Türkiye-Africa Cooperation”.
Join us as we explore how African Diaspora leadership can be institutionalised within Türkiye-Africa cooperation frameworks.
The Forum aims to strengthen dialogue, promote partnerships, and highlight the growing role of the African diaspora as a strategic bridge between societies, institutions, and markets.
In addition to panel discussions and networking opportunities, participants will take part in the Diaspora Skills Lab, an interactive workshop session designed to enhance practical skills, encourage collaboration, and support diaspora-led initiatives.
As part of the application process, participants are expected to select one workshop track to attend.
